Decent Read..

Hey, if your team can't win it all you may as well pull for the team in your own conference that does.

Its sad that the tough conference schedule is used as a crutch for many of the middle/lower tier teams of the SEC. With that said it is also justified.

The teams of the conferences outside of the SEC are tired of hearing the SEC.. SEC.. SEC.. chant are tired of hearing it for one reason. They have no excuse for not going undefeated in their own conference and ultimately "winning it all."

When a team from a conference outside of the SEC does go undefeated they are crushed by the best team in the SEC in the bowl game. The article that Staples wrote could be summed up by the last sentence of it:

"Win. The. National. Championship."

And he may as well have said "Or shut the HELL up" after it..

You can't tell me you wouldn't like to see FSU, Miami, or VT win a national title for the ACC. That is what your conference needs to be relevant. Until then winning the ACC will be just what VT, BC, and GT has done. What have they done exactly?

Hey excuses at many times suck. And at other times they suck and are justified as well. In the case of all the SEC teams battling every week, they all get the justified stamp of approval (in the case of this blog, with a cowboy pointing a gun beside it!)..
